This initiative, focused around La Mata Lagoon, involved planting approximately 650 trees across several designated zones. The project marks a notable step in involving the younger generation in ecological conservation efforts, enhancing the green landscape of the region.
Tree Planting in Torrevieja: A Community Effort

Vital for the success of any planting operation, these preparations guaranteed a fertile start for the trees planted by the keen students. Leroy Merlin also contributed by supplying necessary tools such as shovels, buckets, and gloves, enabling the students to carry out their tasks efficiently.
The event, which integrated ecological education, was attended by students from fifteen educational institutions, including ALPE. These young environmentalists received valuable lessons on eco-regeneration and best practices in planting, conducted by park educators who provided guidance throughout the planting process.
Planting Native Species for a Sustainable Future
