10th National Artichoke Congress Set for Almoradí
The town of Almoradí will host the 10th National Artichoke Congress from March 8 to 9, 2025, showcasing the region’s treasured vegetable. Organized by the Tourism Department of Almoradí City Council in collaboration with the Vega Baja Artichoke Association, this year’s congress promises to be bigger and more exciting than ever, featuring over 30 diverse activities in the Constitution Square’s 10,000 square meters of exhibition space.

The event will kick off on March 8 with a range of engaging activities, including:
- Market and Exhibitions: A weekly market from 10 AM to 1:30 PM highlighting local produce, including the famous Vega Baja artichokes.
- Route “Tapea with Artichoke”: A culinary journey featuring 16 local bars and restaurants.
- Showcooking Sessions: Live cooking demonstrations showcasing artichoke recipes by renowned chefs.
- Children’s Cooking Workshop: A free workshop for kids aged 5 to 11 at 6 PM, hosted by local talent.
- Free Tasting Event: A communal artichoke tasting event in the evening.
