Participants,divided into Gold,Silver,adn Bronze groups,completed three races,while the Pearl group managed two.The competition has become fiercely competitive with new leaders entering the spotlight.
Intense Competition in the Gold Group
Marta Mansito-Valverde, the reigning world champion from Gran Canaria, witnessed a hectic day with fluctuating placements. despite maintaining a stronghold in the women’s category, her position slipped to fourth overall after achieving 7th and 48th positions in the day’s events. Her early efforts included a commendable second place finish, but the afternoon races proved challenging.
Simultaneously occurring, the lead in the overall rankings was seized by Juan Lleonart from CN El Balís. Lleonart’s strategic moves resulted in a 10th place in the first trial of the day,followed by an impressive 2nd place. Although he ended the last race of the day in 39th place, his previous scores secured him the leading position with a total of 28 points.
