The labrador Psych Fest originated from a passionate group of local musicians aiming to shine a light on alternative music genres frequently enough overlooked by mainstream media. Daniel Molina from the group Limonero Fuzz explains, “With this festival, we want to remind everyone that beyond the commercial music typically heard on the radio, there’s a whole world of genres like Stoner, Psychedelia, Rock, metal, and Punk.”
The festival has grown from a small local event held last year into a professional and well-organized celebration of alternative culture. Raúl Gálvez from Limonero Fuzz highlights the festival’s mission: “It’s about creating an artistic and cultural space for those who both create and enjoy these niche musical genres – but our doors are open to everyone who wants to experience authentic, heartfelt live music.”

The Polideportivo Municipal de San Isidro was chosen as the location thanks to the strong support from the Ayuntamiento de San Isidro. Mayor Manuel gil Gómez emphasized the cultural and communal value of the event: ”We always support initiatives like this that diversify cultural offerings and bring fresh artistic experiences to our town and region.”
Manuel Marín, another festival organizer, speaks about the importance of such events in promoting the underground rock scene: “Though it may be a bit underground, for fans of guitar-driven music and live energy, this festival is a great opportunity. About Limonero Fuzz: The Driving Force Behind the Festival
Limonero Fuzz, a psychedelic stoner rock band from Vega Baja, serves as the festival’s main organizers.Comprised of experienced musicians and sound technicians,the band has dedicated the past year and a half to nurturing this project with professional care. Daniel Molina describes their music as “a blend of the styles of Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath,” capturing the essence of psych and heavy rock.
