the City Council of Torrevieja has officially opened the call for entries for the seventh edition of its popular Photography Tribute to Seniors Contest. Inmaculada Montesinos, councilor for Senior Citizens, announced that interested participants now have until September 14, 2024 to submit their works. This year’s contest warmly honors the special bond between generations with the theme: “Stories That Are Inherited.”
Capturing Moments Between Generations
The contest aims to spotlight the daily interactions and shared experiences between seniors and younger family members – children and youth – celebrating how memories and traditions pass from one generation to the next. The theme beautifully invites photographers aged 60 and above, pensioners residing in Torrevieja, to tell these heartfelt stories through their lenses.
How to Participate
If you meet the age and residency requirements, here’s how you can join the contest:
- Eligibility: Pensioners over 60 years old, registered residents of Torrevieja.
- Number of Entries: Up to 2 photographs per participant.
