Torrevieja Celebrates World Tourism Day with a Full Program of Tours, Talks, and Tastings
From September 26 to 28, 2025, the coastal city of torrevieja will come alive with a variety of cultural, educational, ecotourism, and gastronomic activities to mark World Tourism Day. This event invites residents and visitors alike to discover the natural beauty, rich history, and delicious flavors of Torrevieja through guided experiences designed for all ages.
Friday, September 26: Welcome Guided City Tours
The festivities kick off with guided tours around the city center at 10:00 and 11:00 AM. these tours will be offered in Spanish, English, and French. To participate, visitors must register at the Torrevieja Tourist Office.
Saturday, September 27: A Day Packed with Culture, History, and Food
- Theatrical Family Route: “The Salty Story of the Lagoons” will take place at La Mata Natural park from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, offering an engaging and interactive experience tailored for children aged 7 to 12. Organized by Ars Creatio Cultural Association, attendance is limited to 50 participants.
- Natural History Museum visits: Guided tours will run at 11:00 AM and 12:00 noon, with registration via QR code.
- Environmental Talks: “once Upon a Beach. From Monk Seals to Black-tailed Godwits” will be held from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the corner of Calle Concepción and Fotógrafos Darblade.
