Autumn Youth Agenda 2024 Unveiled in Torrevieja
The Town Council of Torrevieja, represented by the Youth Councilor Domingo Paredes, has announced the launch of the Autumn Youth Agenda 2024. This vibrant program is set to fill the last quarter of the year with 22 exciting activities and events planned for October, November, and December, aimed at engaging the youth of the community.
Highlight Events in the Youth Agenda
- 2nd National Graffiti Competition “House TLY”: Scheduled for October 12, this event will showcase talented artists and muralists from all over Spain, featuring significant cash prizes and a variety of side activities throughout the day.
- Halloween Activities: Excitement fills the air with three major events:
- A trip to Port Aventura on the weekend of October 26-27.
- The “Torrerífico” short film festival on October 26, in collaboration with the Youth Association of La Comarca and the University of Alicante in Torrevieja.
- A captivating Survival Zombie event through the streets of Torrevieja on Halloween night, October 31.
Educational Workshops and Activities
This Autumn, the agenda emphasizes learning with a variety of educational opportunities:
- A B1 English preparation course.
- Workshops on digital skills including robotics, AI, digital marketing, 3D design and printing, video game programming, and digital photography.
- Selection of candidates for the JOOP training programs and educational leisure monitoring courses starting in November.
Continued Community Engagement
The council continues to foster community connections by collaborating with local youth associations on role-playing games and board games held at the CIAJ. There are also English conversation sessions with British volunteers and inclusive leisure outings aimed at youth with functional diversity.
Festive December Activities
As the holiday season approaches, the Youth Council has planned a special event featuring free F1, MotoGP, and Rally simulators on December 21, located in the pedestrian zone of Calle Concepción and nearby areas.
