Torrevieja Celebrates Halloween 2025 with Full Program of Commercial and Youth Entertainment
Torrevieja city council has launched an extensive Halloween 2025 programme running through October 31st, combining commercial revitalization efforts with family-pleasant activities and youth entertainment across multiple locations in the municipality.
The initiative, presented jointly by the Departments of Commerce and Youth, represents a total investment of €48,433, financed through the Recovery, Conversion and Resilience Plan via Next Generation EU funds.The funding specifically targets support for local commerce while promoting employment and social cohesion in the coastal city.
Commercial Revitalization Takes Center Stage
Commerce Councillor Rosario Martínez Chazarra emphasized the campaign’s economic importance for local businesses. Halloween has established itself as one of the most attractive campaigns for small local businesses, generating significant visitor flow in both the city centre and La Mata. The programme aims to keep economic and social activity thriving in Torrevieja’s streets through this seasonal celebration.
The commercial aspects of the programme include interactive exhibits,themed decorations,workshops,musical performances,children’s contests,and parades. A horror walk attraction will be featured at the Vistalegre Exhibition Hall, with a thematic exhibition running from October 24-31.
Zombie Experience Returns for Youth
Youth Councillor Domingo Paredes Ibáñez announced the highly anticipated return of the ”Experiencia Zombie” (Zombie Experience), designed specifically for Torrevieja’s young population. The immersive urban survival game combines play, sport, and teamwork to promote choice and healthy leisure activities among youth.
The Zombie Experience takes place on the night of October 31st in La Mata,beginning at 11:00 PM in Plaza de Encarnación Puchol.Participants will face various challenges throughout the urban setting, with professional makeup services available at the La Mata Sports Pavilion. The activity includes themed settings,group challenges,and gifts for participants.
Family Activities and Costume Contest
Plaza de La Constitución serves as the hub for family-oriented activities on Friday, October 31st, starting at 5:00 PM. The schedule includes a children’s costume contest, also beginning at 5:00 PM in the same location.
The festivities culminate in a grand Halloween 2025 parade along Ramón Gallud Street, scheduled for 7:30 PM on October 31st, providing a celebratory conclusion to the five-day programme.
